Experienced Intermediate / Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Sterling Services are currently recruiting for the above role, to join our busy and growing team. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, you will work agilely from our Knowsley offices to financially control and oversee our established repairs and maintenance business throughout the United Kingdom.
You will also support our Senior Management Team with the planned consolidation and growth of our major projects division.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation and agreement of external valuations
Supporting the Construction Team with Contract administration advice.
Preparation and presentation of monthly internal valuations and cost reporting.
Negotiation and placing of supply chain orders and development of our supply chain database.
Managing subcontract accounts in accordance with their terms and conditions.
Supporting our Estimating team with tenders including take offs and cost advice.
Supporting the business to become more efficient through the further development of IT based systems and waste reduction initiatives.
A full clean driving licence is essential
A degree in Quantity Surveying or other Construction discipline is preferred.
