Head of Operations

Ian has worked in the construction for over 40 years when he started his career as an apprentice joiner in 1982 with Wimpey Construction. He achieved, Apprentice of the year twice once at college and again with Wimpy.

Ian Successfully completed his apprenticeship and worked for a few years as a Joiner before Moving into Supervision and Management with Wimpey.

Ian progressed through the ranks from a Forman Joiner to finishing Forman to site Management, Contracts Management and Operations Management working on schemes such as:

·      Social Housing refurbishment

·      Commercial refurbishment

·      Listed Buildings

·      Petrochemical sites

·      Government buildings

·      Leisure

·      New Build Housing

·      Eco and Retrofit

·      Civil Engineering

·      The Town Hall and Central Library Manchester City Centre.

·      Clayton Square Shopping Centre Liverpool City Centre.

·      The Customs & Excise Building Kings Dock Liverpool.

·      British Nuclear Fuels Springfields Preston.

·      The Award winning AGMA Retrofit Framework Greater Manchester.

·      The Award Wining Warm Home Oldham Project.

·      The IMPACT Manchester framework.

 Personal Interests – During his down time he enjoys watching his son play football, spending time with his family, visiting North Wales, he has numerous hobbies and is always looking for a new challenge.
