This project involved a comprehensive overhaul of electrical and data services within the reception and office areas, with all existing systems being stripped back to the main distribution board.
Key aspects of the work included the installation of mechanical ventilation and associated power supplies. New lighting and smoke detectors were installed, and double power sockets were fitted along with HDMI connections in the school meeting rooms. The kitchen area seen upgraded power sockets and replacement of all lighting. Additionally, data and power systems running to the SEN rooms were modified accordingly.
During these works, one of the main challenges was ensuring that essential systems, such as access equipment, supply boxes, and alarms, remained fully operational while the works were in progress.
Despite the complexity of maintaining these critical services during construction, adjustments were made to ensure minimal disruption, allowing the systems to function seamlessly throughout the project.
