The new build project at browns playing fields included the creation of a new build sports pavilion, housing multiple changing rooms and toilet facilities, a function room for events with an internal moving partition to separate the space during community events, and a fully functioning kitchen area for catering along with areas to store sports club equipment used by community clubs.
During the project, drainage issues were encountered, with the existing system found to be in a state of disrepair. This required excavation and replacement of the old drainage lines to establish a proper connection to the main line in the street. A Section 50 licence was obtained to permit work on the footpath and highways, ensuring compliance with regulations. Despite these challenges, the works were carried out efficiently and successfully.
