This project was the development of a new oil and fuel storage and distribution depot situated on a brownfield site. The project encompassed several key components, including the construction of an office building, a tank farm, and associated bunds and bases.
Essential infrastructure improvements were also made, such as drainage attenuation systems, an interceptor, and a new staff car park. The scope of work extended to the installation of fencing and landscaping enhancements. A critical aspect of the project involved creating a 10-meter deep connection to an existing public sewer located within a public highway.
One key challenge during this project involved coordinating with local utility providers to establish essential connections.
Specifically, the team had to navigate logistics to integrate the sewage system with existing sewers, as well as to connect power, data, and water services. This process required meticulous planning and negotiation to ensure seamless integration and compliance with local regulations. Adjustments were made to accommodate unforeseen obstacles and streamline the connectivity process.
